The Storck is Angela Wilkins (neé Storck) who opened her first restaurant in London 29 years ago. Storck's Wine Bar in Barnes was named by Time Out as a 'testament to the culinary expertise of Angela Wilkins'. Opened in 1984, it was ahead of its time in combining flavours from different cuisines. Well before gastropubs had even been heard of, Storcks was serving high quality and innovative food in a wine bar.
Since then Angela has worked for a catering company in Hong Kong, run her own in Stockholm and opened her second restaurant in Stockholm (Farbror Frej, Odenplan).
The Storck is now back in Barnes and offering catering services for special occasions, including canapes, buffets and sit down dinners.
Born in Sweden, Angela is inspired by Swedish ingredients and cuisine but has plenty of experience with other cuisines too from Italian to Thai. Click here to see some sample menus.
